The oils of the RENISO K series are highly refined, naphthene-based selective raffinates that have been dewaxed to a great extent for use as refrigeration oils at low temperatures. Because of their high degree of raffination, the mineral oils of the RENISO K series are very resistant to aging, both in contact with ammonia (NH3) and with HCFC. Application RENISO K refrigeration oils are used both for conventional NH3 applications with flooded evaporation according to DIN 51 503 KAA, as well as for halogenated chlorofluorocarbons (HCFC) according to DIN 51 503 KC.
